12mm Toughened Glass Panels - For use with Top Mount Mini Posts / Spigots

Glass panels designed specifically for use with our Mini Post & Spigot Balustrade posts - Top Mount Designs

12mm thick Clear toughened glass supplied in 7 different sizes, that allow you to configure an off the shelf balustrade solution to fit most project areas using our choice of Mini Post and Glass Spigots. Finished heights will vary depending on the spigot type used but all meet the minium 1100mm requirement for glass railings at heigh (1130mm to 1154mm finsihed heights. 

Glass is supplied to meet the following post centre line requirements

• 500mm Wide Panels (500 x 1087mm)
• 600mm Wide Panels (600 x 1087mm)
• 700mm Wide Panels (700 x 1087mm)
• 800mm Wide Panels (800 x 1087mm)
• 900mm Wide Panels (900 x 1087mm)
• 1000mm Wide Panels (1000 x 1087mm)
• 1200mm Wide Panels (1200 x 1087mm)
  

We Suggest at least 15mm gap is left between each panel of glass and gaps no more than 99mm (to meet gap safety requirements).

How does it work?
The Mini Post and Glass Spogot balustrade is made of toughened glass and tested to withstand wind speeds of up to 138kph (86mph). You can rest assured it will offer protection against the elements and stand the test of time.

With its glass panels in a choice of stocked widths and Mini Posts or Glass Spigots, the cost effective glass balustrade is quick and easy to install using basic equipment.

When these balustrade fixings are used without a handrail this solution is ideal for low level installations with install with falls no higher than 600mm. Ideal for patio and deck installs. When used with a slotted handrail some of the spigot and Mini post designs meet 0.74kN building regulation requirements. Please check the loading requiremensts of the chosen spigot design.
